Since 2005 I’ve lived in a rainforest on the Big Island of Hawaii. It’s a long way from my original home in a land of ice and snow. But that doesn’t change the fact that all of life is ephemeral.
In this “Hawaii Noon” series, I want to draw and paint what I actually see, show nature’s amazing energy, yet still express that each moment holds a changing reality.
